The Position

Join our amazing ARCA team! The Executive Chef will lead a team of culinary professionals in creating a spectacular dining experience. As an Executive Chef your experience in managing various aspects of a kitchen will be reflective in positive customer satisfaction and team engagement.

The role calls for a self-motivated professional who enhances communication and commitment in delivering and maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency.

Working closely with the Banquet Manager you will oversee all activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel engaged in preparing and cooking foods. This includes the production of all hot and cold food items, in addition to managing and training all culinary personnel in a high volume, seven day a week operation.


  • 3+ years’ experience in culinary field
  • 1+ years’ experience with high volume production cooking
  • Experience with multicultural cuisines is an asset
  • Completion of recognized culinary program (relevant experience may be considered)
  • Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation methods
  • Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and team building skills
  • Inventory management and ordering skills
  • Proven ability to multi task
  • Flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and weather extreme temperatures (ovens/freezers)
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs
  • Able to work under pressure/attend to deadlines
  • Working knowledge with spreadsheets, word processing and email
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Identifies business opportunities and organizes or oversees the development and deliverables of these efforts
