Early Childhood Education
In Edmonton Islamic Childcare we support children in developing their Islamic character by nurturing the potential residing in each child in a comfortable and safe environment. Each day your child will be discovering new things using their senses, experimenting with toy instruments, exploring textures, and colors.
Everything we do—from curriculum to assessments—is embedded in the core of Islamic teachings and is designed to make our classrooms places where children can truly thrive. Your children will find professional multicultural teachers who believe in them, who relate to their diverse cultural backgrounds, who give them the freedom to be themselves, try something new, and make new friends.
We take pride in our ability to provide a loving, supportive environment to refugees and new immigrants children, through our ESL and integration programs to enable and empower the future generation of Muslim Canadians.

Edmonton Islamic Pre-school program operates through the Edmonton Islamic Academy and focuses on the cognitive, social, emotional and physical development a child needs to have a well-rounded education. This is done from an Islamic perspective and in an Islamic environment.
The program is administered by a certified teacher who leads a team of eight early childhood educators, three speech pathologists, and an occupational therapist to build a strong program around the individual needs of the students.
The Preschool program operates four days a week (Monday through Thursday) and provides morning or afternoon classes for preschool children (three and four-year-olds).
